Ally Bennett - Account Executive

1.  Please describe your background (degree, field of training, related experience).

My undergrad is with Michigan State University Graduate (go green...). I received my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Health Promotions with an additional Concentration in Dietetics. Previous roles prior to Print-Tech include Interim High School Science Teacher and Account Executive at Grand Rapids Griffins Hockey.

2.  What is your role now and how has it changed since you hired in?

Being an Account Executive for the Griffins allowed me to service, manage and sell new memberships for The Griffins Hockey Team. My duties included:

  • Prospecting new businesses
  • Servicing 500+ individual members and partnerships
  • Creating unique Griffins experiences for our members

As an Account Executive for Print Tech, I look forward to working more closely with businesses, developing long lasting relationships while helping clients see their vision come to life. Within this role, I can't wait to get creative with clients and provide them with friendly service and an exceptional product!

3.  What is the most satisfying part of your job?

Being in a new role, I'm not sure exactly what will become my favorite part! I'm excited to tackle on new challenges and finding my niche to help service other businesses. I anticipate the most exciting part of my new job will learning what each client needs, creating a specialized product for them, and watching as it helps elevate them to further success.

4.  Outside of work, what activities or hobbies are you passionate about?  In other words, where might we find you on the weekends?

I love to engage in physical activity and can be found outside all day every day during the spring, summer, and fall. Being first time home owners, my fiancé Bobby and I enjoy yard work way more than we probably should and playing with our puppy dog Ivy.

5. Describe your favorite vacation.

My favorite vacation was during COVID with Bobby. Plane tickets were $19 to go to Las Vegas, so we went! We walked around the empty strip then rented a car to tent-camp around Arizona. We saw the most beautiful pink granite mountain in the Prescot National Forest that we later named (you guessed it) Mount Granite. We then headed north to Flagstaff and stumbled upon Marshall Lake, which rested in front of Humphreys Peak, a dormant volcano. We had the most spectacular time.

6. What was your first car?

My first car. Oh boy, it was a White 2007 Ford Taurus which I crashed in front of a boyfriend’s house. Next it was a 2001 Black Ford Taurus that I crashed into a deer. After that I ended up with a 2008 Chevy Impala that I crashed in front of an exit sign sliding off the highway. Later it turned into a Black 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. I took my little Jetta to a boyfriend to change my brakes that he then forgot to bleed in the dead of winter. Soon enough, I bought myself a Blueberry Ford Focus that I did not wreck, until I upgraded to a 2014 Silver Ford Taurus. That being said, if you see me on the roadways, do not fear! I have since become a very good driver.
